It’s confidence after heartbreak, a reinvention after chaos, a little bit of armour before walking into a room & sometimes just a place to exhale for a few hours while someone takes care of you for a change. That belief is what built not only my career, but this entire space.

Over the last 22 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across celebrity, editorial, commercial, bridal, fashion, documentaries, magazines, education, & even an Xbox game project. I’ve worked with names including Stephen Harper, Hillary Clinton, Rona Ambrose, Brooke Candy & Tegan and Sara’s documentary, while collaborating with agencies like Ford Models & Wilhelmina.

Before opening in 2019, I educated for L’Oréal Professionnel & currently Moroccanoil. I come from a background in visual arts & originally planned to go into interior design before changing my mind at the last possible second, which is very me, Designing and curating the salon became an extension of that creative side of me, right down to the layout, functionality, lighting, furniture, and custom rolling stations built to accommodate large education events. Every detail was intentional.

I specialize in lived-in colour, effortless tossled hair, vivid transformations, extensions, sculptural cuts & razor-sharp classic bobs, think Vidal Sassoon. I’ve also had the privilege of providing on-location bridal services the entirety of my 22 years.

More than anything, I wanted this space to feel creative, safe, inspiring & unapologetically real. Over the years, I’ve learned that while we’re there for our clients during some of the biggest moments of their lives, our clients are often there for us too.

At the end of the day, none of this exists without the people who continue to trust us with not only their hair, but pieces of their lives, and that’s something I, and we, will never take lightly.

Hi! I'm Brookelynn and I am the owner of beetheblondie, located inside the nicest collective salon space in YYC - Level 7 Artist Collective. I am a Journeyman Red Seal stylist, who specializes in blonding services, and VoguePearl hair extensions! I have 12 years of experience behind the chair as a stylist, with 9 of those years specializing in Vogue Pearl Extensions. My biggest passion in this industry is to help individuals achieve their full confidence, and feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside! I cant wait to welcome you in my chair, and help you achieve your hair goals and dreams!

Born and raised in beautiful Costa Rica, my passion for hair started at a very young age. I’ve now been behind the chair for over 23 years, helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and truly themselves through healthy, customized hair transformations.

I have been in the hair industry since 2012. I love having the opportunity to interact with my guests and making them feel right at home. With over 14 years behind the chair, Kirsty is known for creating effortlessly lived-in blondes, seamless balayage, dimensional colour, and bold creative transformations. Since graduating from MC College in 2012, she has continued refining her craft through advanced education and industry events across North America, including Unite Academy in San Diego, Joico destination education in Punta Cana, and Behind the Chair in Texas.

Born in Indonesia and shaped by a life filled with travel and creativity, Kirsty brings an artistic eye and personalized approach to every appointment. She especially loves creating textured, expressive cuts like shags and creative cuts that complement each client’s individuality and lifestyle.

When you sit in her chair, expect a collaborative experience, lots of laughs, and someone who genuinely cares about making your hair feel like you. Outside the salon, she’s usually travelling, dancing at music festivals, or finding inspiration in art, music, and fashion.

Krista started her professional career in the hair industry 13 years ago. She has worked with Schwarzkopf Professional for 10 years, and educated at the Toronto ASK academy where she achieved training for the Mekka cutting and styling system with the famous Kathy Simon. Exploring her creative passion, having a love for free hand colouring. Krista is always striving to give her guests a space where they can unwind, and have all their hair desires achieved with integrity of the hair in mind.

Mandy has a talent for creating every tone of blonde imaginable, vivids, seamless melts, vivids & is skilled in various extensions methods.

Matt has been doing hair since 2010 as well as teaching for the Joico Canada education team across southern Alberta since 2016. His focus is blondes and balayage looks but always happy to create artistic masterpieces for his non-conventional clients.

Meet Sasha, your lived-in balayage & extension transformation specialist creating effortless, confidence-boosting hair. If it’s not 24 inches, what are we even doing? Probably has more extensions in her own hair than she can count and still claims those last 6 inches are “just for thickness.” She’ll be brutally honest about your box dye decisions, but you’ll leave her chair feeling brand new. With 16 years of industry experience, Toccara offers many hair services for her clients as she’s an exceptional colourist & blonde  specialist. She possesses  extensive experience in current and contemporary hair color application, detailed cutting techniques,  upstyling as well as various  extensions techniques. She also loves to lend her creative side in fashion shows, costume design & photo shoots.

 She is continuously training in all aspect of her industry to stay current on trends and fashion. She loves the endless creativity and inspiration she receives from being involved with such high-level creative teams.
